You know what people forget about Samantha Jones/Kim Cattrall? She is freakin' beautiful. And aging amazingly. And was consistently the funniest, most daring, and often most empowering part of SATC. Much has been written by scholars bigger than I about this character's independence, professional power, sexual liberation and the impact it has had on our society. Basically I just love her. I love how comfortable she always seemed in her body, I love how she was never subjugated, how she was never judgmental, how she threw men around, but always took care of her friends. Let's face it, I also love what she wore. After the jump, some of the best.

Samantha is the oldest of the Sex and the City gang but that doesn't mean she's behind in the fashion stakes. Female First look at how you can channel Sam's sexy power dressing style.

Sam's wardrobe is all about bold colour and bold shapes. We all know she loves to make a shocking statement and her clothes reflect this.

As a high flying PR woman Sam spends most of her time in workwear- but forget frumpy trouser suits- she turns the office into a catwalk with lots of bright colours, 80s style shoulder pads and Dynasty inspired belted waists.
